About Bespoke Rooflines
We are roofline specialists. Fascias, soffits, guttering, downpipes, cladding, bargeboards and repairs are what we do every day, and we fit each one to suit the property it belongs to.
Roofline is our specialism, not a sideline
Bespoke Rooflines is a specialist roofline business. We don't try to turn our hand to every trade under the sun. We stick to the band of boards, trims and rainwater fittings that runs along the edge of your roof. Because that is all we do, we have the time to get it right. The finished roofline is measured, fitted and dressed to suit your home, not pushed through to a standard formula.
Between us we cover every part of that roof edge. We install and replace fascias and soffits, fit and renew guttering and downpipes, add protective and decorative exterior cladding, and finish gable ends with bargeboards. Where a full replacement would be overkill, we carry out targeted repairs instead. And when several elements have worn out together, we renew the lot as one coordinated roofline replacement rather than a run of separate visits.
What can you expect when you work with us?
No two roofs are quite the same. The shape, the age and the condition all vary. The way we work is built around that, from the first phone call to the final sweep-up. Four things stay constant.
Property-specific advice
We look at your roofline as it actually is: the profiles, the access, the state of the timber behind the boards, then tell you what suits your home. Not a standard package pulled off a shelf.
Measured, finished to fit
Boards and trims are cut and fitted to the real lines of your roof. We work the corners, joints and returns by hand so the finished edge looks considered, not approximate.
Tidy installation
We protect what we work around, keep the site orderly as we go, and take away the old materials and offcuts at the end. You're left with a finished roofline and a clean property.
Clear quotations
You get a written quotation before anything starts, setting out exactly what is included. No vague figures, and no surprises halfway through the job.
What does "bespoke" actually mean here?
For us "bespoke" isn't a marketing flourish. It describes how the work is done. A roofline doesn't arrive in one size. The boards come in long lengths that have to be cut to the exact runs of your roof, the colour and profile have to be chosen to suit the building, and the fittings have to be set out so rainwater actually runs the way it should.
So bespoke, to us, means the solution is shaped around your property: the right materials for its age and exposure, measurements taken off the roof itself, and a finish worked to match the character of the building. Done well, it should look as though it was always meant to be there. If you'd like to see how materials and colours differ, our materials and finishes page runs through the common options, and our process page walks through how a project goes from enquiry to handover.
What kinds of property do we work on?
Rooflines differ a lot from one property to the next, and we're set up to handle that range. The materials, the profiles and the access all change depending on the building in front of us.
Traditional homes
Terraced and semi-detached houses, where a clean, familiar finish keeps the character of the street intact.
Modern properties
Newer builds, where crisp lines and a finish such as anthracite grey sit naturally with the architecture.
Bungalows
Single-storey homes, often with long, low runs of roofline where access and tidy jointing make the difference.
Period properties
Older houses with deeper overhangs and detailing that reward a sympathetic, carefully worked finish.
Rental properties
Landlords and letting agents who want durable, low-maintenance roofline that keeps the building weathertight.
Commercial buildings
Larger or more exposed structures, where a robust system and clean presentation both count.
How we like to work
However big or small the job, the same handful of principles run through it.
- Craftsmanship: boards and trims cut and fitted with care, not rushed.
- Honest advice: a straight answer on what your roofline needs and what it does not.
- Clean finish: tidy work on site and a property left as we found it.
- Clear pricing: a written quotation you can read and understand before we start.
