Roofline transformations & finished projects

This gallery shows the kinds of roofline work we carry out: fresh fascias and guttering, full replacements, anthracite finishes, cladding and gable-end bargeboards. Use it to picture how the different finishes come together on a home.

A roofline runs along the whole top edge of a property, so the difference a project makes is easy to see. New boards close off and tidy the roof edge, fresh guttering and downpipes carry rainwater away cleanly, and a well-judged colour and profile lift the look of the entire facade.

The examples below cover the range of work involved: single elements such as fascias and guttering, coordinated full-roofline replacements, anthracite finishes, protective and decorative cladding, and the detailing around soffits and bargeboards. Each photo is chosen to show the sort of result a tidy, well-finished roofline gives.

About these images: the photographs in this gallery illustrate the kind of roofline work we carry out. They are examples, not photographs of specific completed Bespoke Rooflines projects.

Know what to look for

What does a good roofline finish look like?

Reviewing our work, or comparing quotes from a few firms? These are the tell-tale signs of a roofline that has been installed carefully and will perform well.

Clean, straight lines

Boards should run true and level along the roof edge, with consistent gaps and no sagging or waviness between the fixings.

A confident colour match

Fascias, soffits, gutters and trims should share one coordinated colour and finish, and sit well against your windows and brickwork.

Neat gutter runs

Guttering should sit at a steady fall towards the outlets, with tidy joints and brackets evenly spaced, so water flows away without pooling.

Tidy downpipes

Downpipes should run plumb and close to the wall, firmly bracketed, and discharge to a proper drainage point rather than straight against the brickwork.
