What we do

Our roofline services

Your roofline is made up of several parts that work together: the boards along the roof edge, the ventilated panels beneath the overhang, and the gutters and pipes that carry rainwater away. We install, replace and repair every one of them, and the pages below explain what each involves, the options available and what affects the cost.

It helps to understand the pieces involved before you commit to any work. Some homeowners come to us for a single repair: one rotten board, or a dropped gutter. Others want a coordinated replacement that brings the fascias, soffits and rainwater goods up to the same standard at once. Both are perfectly sensible; the right choice depends on the condition of your property and what you want to achieve.

Below is every service we offer, grouped so you can see how they relate. If you already know what you need, go straight to the relevant page. If you're not sure, that's normal. Read the short descriptions, or skip to the not sure what you need section and let us take a look for you.

How the roofline parts fit together

It's tempting to treat fascias, soffits and gutters as separate jobs. On your roof, though, they form one connected system, and each part leans on the others to do its job. That's why a fault in one place so often shows up in another.

  • The fascia closes the roof edge and gives the guttering something solid to fix to. If the fascia is rotten, the gutter has nothing sound to hold it.
  • The soffit seals the underside of the overhang and, when ventilated, lets air flow into the roof space to manage condensation.
  • The gutter gathers rainwater off the roof, and the downpipe takes it safely to the ground, away from the walls and foundations.
  • Bargeboards and cladding protect the more exposed edges and surfaces, completing the weatherproof band around your home.

Because the parts are linked, work on one often affects the others. Fitting new guttering to a tired fascia rarely makes sense, as the gutter is only ever as secure as the board behind it. Looking at the roofline as a whole lets us recommend the work that genuinely needs doing, and nothing that doesn't.

We can help you decide

Not sure what you need?

You do not have to diagnose the problem yourself. If you have noticed overflowing gutters, soft boards, peeling paint or damp around the roof edge, but you are not certain which service that points to, tell us what you are seeing and we will take it from there.

Describe what you have spotted

A short message and, if you can, a photo or two is usually enough for us to understand the likely issue and suggest sensible next steps, be it a small repair or a wider look at the roofline.
